History and Mission

Dr. Pantea Sharifi Hannauer has been in private practice as a pediatric neurologist in the South Bay for over six years.  She has focused her professional efforts helping children with a variety of behavioral issues, including development delays, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, epilepsy and others.  The testimonials available on this website demonstrate the results of her professional efforts on behalf of her patients.

In 2011, Dr. Hannauer opened the Early Childhood Treatment Center. The ECTC is one of the few Intensive Outpatient Programs available in California.  Dr. Hannauer opened the program in response to an apparent need, based on long waiting lists for enrollment in other intensive outpatient or partial hospitalization programs.

The ECTC is dedicated to helping young children diagnosed with behavioral disorders, development delays and/or autism spectrum disorders.  These children often experience severe chronic problems and major life difficulties.  Early and aggressive intervention at the right time during pediatric brain development is crucial in determining long term developmental outcome.

The Early Childhood Treatment Center is located in a brand new facility in the Pediatric Minds Medical Center at 3524 Torrence Bvld., Suite 104, Torrance, CA 90503.
